Job Description

The overall purpose of this position is to supervise the flow of consignment to and from the Vault room in an efficient and secure manner. 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Grade 12 certificate
  • At least 4 year experience in the CIT environment
  • At least 1 year experience as a Vault room custodian
  • Police, military or security related experience would be an advantage
  • Must be bilingual 

Key areas of responsibility will include, but are not limited to:

  • Prepare for vault room duties
  • Planning of the vault room schedules and roster
  • Receiving of consignment from vehicle crews
  • Taking over consignment from Box-room Assistant
  • Sorting of consignments
  • Balancing of vault and locking up
  • Distribution of consignments
  • Documentation and administration
  • Ensure security and manage staff
