Job Description

Overall purpose of the job:  To manage the existing account manager team as well as maintain relationships with some of the larger client base.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage the existing team of Key Account Managers
  • Manager relationships with key customers.
  • Assist with business development. Prepare SOPs, quotes, presentations, and tender submissions.
  • Present to new business customers and assist in achieving the new business target..
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports and report back to the business and management.
  • Ensure that the B2B database is managed effectively and regularly checked, reconciled, and updated so that any anomalies are timeously actioned accordingly.
  • Ensure that all day-to-day operations of the B2B team run effectively.
  • Identify and driver operational improvements within the business.
  • Ensure that relevant internal personnel receive adequate training on the use of the relevant systems.
  • Regularly run health checks to identify units that may require repair and action accordingly.
  • Ensure that processes are in place for the effective planning of new fitments as well as the timeous updating of information in the existing systems.
  • Assist with stock forecasting and budgeting.
  • Oversee CMR data quality and integrity.
  • Assist marketing teams with Show & Tell days.
  • Maintain a close working relationship with various internal teams.
  • Assist the National New Business Development Manager with pricing, reporting etc.
