Job Description

Reporting to the Branch Manager.

The above position is vacant at the Auto Body Shop, Factoria, Krugersdorp

 

Minimum Requirements...

  • Clear criminal record
  • At least 2 years’ experience as a Workshop Controller for panel beating and mechanical workshop
  • Drivers License — (Code 10 will be an advantage)
  • Attention to detail
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Problem solving and decision making
  • Ability to communicate well with customers and colleagues across different departments,
  • Motivated and be able to motivate others
  • Leadership and able to delegate
  • Ability to work under pressure

 

Job Specification:

  • Customer service
  • Providing accurate estimates servicing, repairs plus panel beating & accident vehicles for different branches and setting a time scale
  • Ensuring quality control, parts are correctly ordered, conducting audits on the team’s work and general There will also be a focus on ensuring job cards are issued and the correct health and safety standards/procedures are followed as well as company standards
  • Working with colleagues and other departments to ensure a seamless service for customers
  • Scheduling work to meet customer needs, considering workshop targets, the complexity of each job and the availability of parts
  • Managing vehicle mechanics and panel beaters, making sure targets are met within a specific time frame
  • Assisting mechanics, panel beaters with technical challenges to identify solutions
  • Making sure all servicing / panel beating work is carried out correctly, competency and on time, with attention to detail before leaving the premises with customer satisfaction in mind
