Job Description

The aim of a Monitoring Centre Associate is to handle outbound telephone calls, incoming signals and to handle basic dispatching and monitoring of all Response and Patrol resources

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Grade 12 (Matric)

• Grade E PSIRA Registered


JOB REQUIREMENTS & OTHER ATTRIBUTES:

• Computer Literate
• Sound knowledge of Listener
• Must be able to communicate in English
• High maturity level
• Phone skills and problem solving



1. ADMINISTRATION

• Monitor and action emergency and non-emergency signals
• Basic dispatching of vehicle/s to the correct premises
• Phoning of the Premises/ Clients/ Key holders
• Recording all relevant information into the activations by means of computer
• Monitor of the radio and record all persons on and off the air
• Record and report all incidents and accidents to the senior on duty
• Ensure all relevant administrative work and handled signals are completed
• Ensure signals are monitored accurately
• Ensure vehicles are dispatched correctly and on time
• Ensure clients are called timeously
• Ensure information is recorded accurately
• Ensure records are kept and are accurate
• Ensure timesheets are accurate and submitted on time


2. COMPUTERS AND EQUIPMENT
• Report any faults to the appropriate person
• Ensure equipment is checked and faults are reported
• Ensure that all equipment is handled with care


3. CLIENT LIAISON

• Telephonic assistance with any problems or complaints
• Updating of client information i.e. holiday instructions/other client information to be given to the MCA V/Lead MCA
• Reporting of any faulty alarm systems through the appropriate channel(s)
• Sales leads to be recorded and reported through the appropriate channel(s)
• Ensure customer queries are dealt with professionally and in accordance with processes
