Fidelity Cash Solutions – CashMaster, Waltloo

Reporting to: Stores Supervisor

The above position is vacant at CashMaster in Waltloo, reporting to the Stores Supervisor CashMaster

Provide a complete stock controller service to the whole of the company, addressing all issues of a storeroom control nature and providing all relevant information to meet external demands. These services may include, but are not limited to, any of the following: stock control, cycle counts, annual stock take, goods receiving, material requirements planning, expediting orders, issuing stock, kitting and supervision of staff

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
  • A recognised Procurement, Logistics or Supply chain qualification advantageous
  • Good level of competence in Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet targets and deadlines
  • Able to work effectively in a complicated environment with minimal management guidance/supervision
  • Good analytical and problem solving ability
  • Technical understanding

 

Principal Duties/Tasks and responsibilities

  • Collaborate with procurement staff to list expected deliveries
  • Receive shipments and sign paperwork upon receipt
  • Unload packages from incoming trucks
  • Inspect contents to ensure they are undamaged
  • Verify packages according to order and invoices (quantity, quality, price etc.)
  • Contact supplier or shipper if a mistake is identified
  • Assume responsibility for returning unsatisfactory shipments or receiving replacements
  • Label deliveries and allocate them to their designated place
  • Maintain accurate records and assist in inventory control
  • Recording serial numbers where applicable
  • Organise stock on shelves and in crates and buckets
  • Bin card control and spot checks in your section
  • Daily cycle counts
  • Assist other departments with parts related queries
  • Assist finance and procurement with goods receiving related queries
  • Perform quality checks on stock being received
  • Make sure new stock items get a bin and label properly with description and part number

  • Managing work load and making sure it is spread evenly
  • Capturing of tags – Make sure it is done correctly
  • Stock take weekly and monthly
  • Assisting Manager with daily issuing and receiving of stock
  • Quality checks
