Job Description

The following Personal Assistant position is available at our Robertville Branch, Roodepoort reporting to the General Manager.

Key Performance Areas: (not totally inclusive):

  • Devising and maintaining office systems, including data management and filing
  • Screening phone calls, enquiries and requests, and handling them when appropriate
  • Organizing and maintain the General Manager dairy and appointments
  • Minute taking
  • Producing documents and reports
  • Liaising with clients, suppliers and other staff
  • Product ordering management
  • Support and control of leave, expenses, overtime claims, attendances, etc.
  • Obtaining quotes

 Minimum Requirements:

  • Grade 12
  • Secretarial certificate or diploma would be an advantage
  • 2 -3 years’ experience as Personal Assistant
  • Fluent in English
  • Must be able to work independently and under pressure
  • Must be reliable and trustworthy
  • Strong organizational skills, as well as good interpersonal communication and liaison skills are essential
  • Well groomed appearance
  • Of sober habits
  • Computer Literacy in MS Office
