Job Title: Hotel Security Officer

Location: Cape Town 



Summary: We are seeking a well-groomed and presented individual to join our team as a Hotel Security Officer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the hotel premises, guests, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

- Patrol hotel premises and monitor security systems to identify and address potential safety hazards or security breaches
- Act as a visible deterrent to potential threats by maintaining a professional and alert presence at all times
- Monitor guest and staff behavior to ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures
- Respond to and investigate all security incidents, including disturbances, thefts, and medical emergencies
- Coordinate with local law enforcement agencies as needed
- Provide excellent customer service to guests and assist with their needs or concerns as necessary
- Complete detailed reports of all security incidents and maintain accurate records of security activities

Qualifications:

- Atleast 3 Years experience in Hospitality Security
- Valid Psira certificate (A-C)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions in emergency situations
- Must be physically fit and able to stand or walk for extended periods of time
- Must have matric

- Must be well-groomed and presented at all times
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening
