Vacancy: Regional Sales Manager
Department: Fidelity ADT - Subscriber
Region: Coastal – East Coast
Reporting to: General Manager – East Coast
Overall Purpose of the Job: The primary role of the incumbent is to meet and exceed targets set by the business and support the Branch Managers to manage the Sales Reps that reports into them.
The incumbent will review the individual consultant’s performance and coach the individual to improve closure rates, deal with objections and resolve customer queries. The incumbent must motivate the region’s Sales Reps to achieve individual benchmarks and assist the Branches to achieve budgeted numbers through pipeline methodology.
The incumbent will have all of the region’s Sale’s Reps as indirect reports, and all five Branch Managers of the region as stakeholders.
Minimum qualifications and experience:
- Matric / Tertiary Sales or Marketing diploma preferred
- 5+ years sales experience, 2+ sales management experience preferred
- Sales and sales management experience is a requirement
- Experience in the security industry is advantageous
- Must have experience in growing a business and needs to be a self-starter and highly motivated to make a difference in the company
- Experience is the Subscriber sector will be an advantage
- Have a clear understanding of Sales metrics: Sales Cycle; Efficiency; Close rates etc
- Must have the ability to work with the internal operational teams. While we are looking for an aggressive Sales mentality, they must have the ability to work collaboratively with all functions within the organization. Must be able to influence to achieve their goals
The primary targets are the following:
- Regional New Client Numbers
- Regional New Client RPU
- Regional Reconnection Percentage
- Regional Reconnection RPU
- Regional Install Revenue and Margin Targets
- SFE Benchmark
- Strike Rate Management
The Regional Sales Manager will be required to intervene in a sales process or to assist in resolving a problem. The Regional Sales Manager will act as the liaison between the sales team and the General Manager and will be accountable to team performance for the above mentioned targets.
Main duties & Responsibilities:
From time to time the incumbent will be required to launch new products and services as developed by the new business team
- EHS responsibilities
- Managing the sales process:
- Lead generation and allocation
- Regional territory allocation
- Lead monitoring and tracking:
- Performance management of sales reps to benchmarks
- Monthly branch visits
- Regular site visits with sales reps
- Regular sales training to occur
- Ensure accuracy of data on contracts going to OTC
- Accountable to team performance for:
- New Client Numbers
- New Client RPU
- Reconnection Percentage
- Reconnection RPU
- Install Revenue and Margin Targets
- SFE Benchmark
- Strike Rate Management
- Creation of sales drives and suburb specific strategy together with the GM
- Ensure that the client experience is professional and reliable
- Minimize sales complaints
- Respond to clients timeously
- Ensure that all appointments are attended to timeously
- Ensure that all quotes are accurate and delivered timeously
